Today I built a rope for my fire truck all by myself. I took a yoyo and tied the string around the truck and pulled. I was super proud of myself! Enjoy this video of me on the new jungle gym Mommy and I built.

I can't believe it has been a whole month since I updated my blog. I am totally slacking!

Actually, I've been really busy.

First it was my best friend, Namoi's birthday. Then it was Mommy's birthday. Then it was finally my birthday. I got lots of practice singing "Happy Birthday" before my big day. Oh, and then it was Uncle Thomas's birthday and birthdays for my friends Riley and Makena; oye, so many birthdays.

Guess what? Nai Nai came out for my birthday. It was so fun to have her here. We did lots of fun stuff, including going to Dizzy's Bus Stop on my birthday. They had lots of cool toys, including a trampline and a super fast slide. My birthday was bus themed! Did you see the cool bus cake I got? Woo hoo!

Cake!

Then I got some super cool presents including lots of books, an o' school Sesame Street Clubhouse with all the people, and this super cool trike!

I went so fast, my cloth blew off! Haha, I actually just went potty. I'm getting pretty good at that.

I've been working hard at asserting myself and becoming a little person. Everything is now mine and my favorite two words are "no way" now. Mommy and daddy can be kind of lame, they keep telling me to do stuff. Don't they know I'm almost two now. I try to get on their good side though by telling them I love them. Oh, and I call them mommy and daddy now instead of momma and dadda.

Things are going well at school. I'm making lots of new friends and some of my old friends are joining me. I'm helping them learn the ropes and since they are twins, I'm helping everyone else figure out which one is which.

Bartleby goes in for his surgery tomorrow, keep your fingers crossed. Here's a video to entertain you in the mean time.

The sun came out for a few hours so of course we Seattlites had to take advantage of it. I think daddy wanted to play with his new camera too. Anyway, more videos are up and in HD, woohoo.

Look how cute I am in this awesome robe, naaahh, robes are for babies, it's my smoking jacket :-)

I also pretended to be a model, check out all these great poses.

Where's my juice!

Hahaha, it's funny because I said it is

Who's the cutest of them all

I'm not tired

I think I pooped my pants

Videos galore! Sorry it took so long but something terrible happened! Bartleby hurt his leg and now he's going to have to have surgery:-( I'm being careful when I play with him but it sucks that I can't wrestle with him like I do with Sadie.

Uncle!

In other news, I've been in the 2 year olds room at daycare for 2 weeks now and I'm doing just great. I've been taking in toys from home and showing them to all of my new friends. My new teachers are really nice too and Naomi is there with me as well. It's really nice to have a friend in a new place, we play games together and then we fight but that's what friends do.

Oh boy have I been busy. Let's see. First of all, we got more snow. The first snow melted, but we got pummeled with more snow. Lots of it! We had about 1.5 feet here total. It was so bad that they had to cancel my party at daycare. It's ok though - I still got a super cool going away present: Mr. Potato Head!!! I really like it.

I got to meet Santa Claus one night, too. I made sure that Mommy and Daddy came with so they could tell him what they wanted, too.

Then after it snowed a lot, we got ready for a visit from Nai Nai and Yie Yie. It just kept on snowing, but they got in safe and sound. I had fun playing with them until I got the flu. It really wasn't fun. Luckily for me, all the snow made it hard for Mommy to go to work, so I had lots of people taking care of me.

Then it was Christmas Eve. Grammy, Gramps and Uncle Thomas came over to celebrate with us. We sure had a full house. Thankfully, I was feeling better, so I had lots of fun helping finish up making cookies and decorating them. Wanna hear a funny story? Of course you do.

Mommy and I were decorating a cookie together. I would tell her what color to put and where to put it. Then it came time for sprinkles. Mommy put some on the table and asked me if I wanted to put them on the cookie. I said, "No." then paused and added "I eat." HAHAHAHAHA. I crack myself up.

After we finished cookies and I took a nap, we made our big dinner of cheese, meat, egg rolls, dumplings, veggies, and of course cookies! Once that was done, it was time to open presents!

I got lots of cool toys. I had to open each one and try it out before I would open more. I got lots of cool stuff, but my favorite is the guitar! It has strings and everything. I tune it just like my music teacher and strum away with my pick. I'll even sing you a song or two along the way.

On Christmas morning, I inisited on getting up at 4:30 am. Mommy wasn't too thrilled with me for that one. Everyone else got up around 7 am. I spent most of the morning playing with my new toys. After my nap, we went over to Grammy's and Gramps's house to have Christmas dinner. Check out this photo of the whole family!

We spent the day after Christmas doing some shopping (boring! But Mommy let me bring a couple of new toys so that helped) and we looked at some houses. I loved looking at the model homes! Everytime we left one, I would ask for more houses. I did get a big goose egg at the last one though. I saw the step up, but not the step down. Ouch. Daddy put snow in a bag and used that on my head.

I enjoyed the rest of my visit with Nai Nai and Yie Yie, but unfortunately, they had to go home. I spent most of the next day hoping that they would come back.

Since then, I've just been chillin' with Mommy and Daddy. I go back to school tomorrow and I start my first full week in my new room!

December 14, 2008

I get to move up to a new classroom starting tomorrow. They sure do treat their kids like big kids over there. I have to serve myself food and I get to go to the potty whenever I want. I am going to have to start using those manners that Mommy and Daddy have been teaching me, too. Some of the kids even change their own underwear! Now, lots of these kids are 3 years old, but I am going to learn a lot from them. Thankfully, my friend from daycare will be coming with me and then next month my groupies (the twins) will be coming, too. I won't feel alone. :) They have much cooler toys in the new room, so that helps, too. :)

In other news, guess what? It snowed!!!! We got like 2 inches at our house. Mom bundled me up and I went out to help Daddy shovel the driveway, which was mostly ice. Then we played a little.

I can still move

We came back in, and after I warmed up, Mommy and Daddy took me sledding! It was fun, but I really wanted to explore the snow and all of its fun properties, including how I can fall face first into it and not get hurt! Daddy couldn't convince me to make a snow angel though.

Weeeeeee!

Mommy made us hot cocoa and grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup when we got back. I loved the hot cocoa!

That's it for now! I probably won't be back until after the holidays because my Nai-Nai and Yeh-Yeh are coming to visit! I can't wait!

December 2, 2008

I've been working on my numbers and getting pretty good at it too. I can't say them all yet but I can usually tell you what the next number is up till ten. Of course, I like to confuse people by saying two whenever they ask me how many of something there is.

I also helped with decorating the christmas tree. That was super fun.

Oh, and check out this video, it's freaking hilarious.

I also went to the zoo again and had loads of fun. But the best was the park afterwards. I must've gone on the slide twenty times and there was this great bouncer.

But things aren't all fun and games. I helped mommy and daddy with the shopping at the farmer's market. Well, I didn't really help that much but I did eat all the cheese and fruit samples. In the afternoon I did help with raking the leaves. I ran through the pile and stole the rake. Mommy and Daddy were sure happy with me.

November 16, 2008

I'm super smart. I really like to go for walks at daycare but the other kids always take forever to get to the door. I figured out that if I helped the teachers and took the other kids to the door, we could go for a walk faster. Pretty smart don't you think.

I also went to the Museum of Flight yesterday and played with all the airplanes. My favorite was sitting inside the cockpit of the airplanes. After a couple rounds of simulator time and I'm ready to get my wings. What about the callsign Baron von Poop'nPants? Look out below!

November 8, 2008

I'm doing super well with going on the potty. I didn't have any accidents a couple of days ago and I went poop on the potty today! I'm the second oldest in my class now so I have to set a good example for the other kids. I'm helping my teachers clean up and I hold the other kids' hands and bring them to where we should be. I'm also working on being a rockstar. I get the guitar and sing the ABCs with it. It's a pretty good act if you don't mind me stopping at G and skipping to L. Oh, and I'm drinking from a grown up cup and I don't wear no stinking bib no more.

I would've dressed up as a rockstar for Halloween but mommy and daddy got me a monkey outfit instead. Oh well, I was pretty cute anyway don't you think?

I went to a party at daycare where we painted pumpkins and then I got lots of candy at mommy's office. Everybody liked hug or treat much better than trick or treat. Then I went to Grammy and Gramp's and got even more candy :-)

October 25, 2008

Hi Everyone! I've been super busy keeping Mommy and Daddy busy. The potty is going well. My teachers at daycare are happy for me (and they are happy to have fewer diapers to change since I don't wear them anymore). I also moved out of my crib. Mommy found me a super cool race car bed (at Daddy's insistence). I love it! I lie on it and read books and pretend it is a real car. Oh and I sleep in it, too. I am such a big boy.

Today I went to the pumpkin patch with Grammy, Gramps, Mommy and Daddy. It was a lot of fun. I really like pumpkins! It was a really fun place to hang out, too. I got to ride a pony and a train. I ate fries and jumped in the hay. Mommy took me on a flying pumpkins ride and we got to take the tractor to the pumpkin patch.

Speaking of... Look at me last year and this year!

2007 2008

I've done so much growing in the last year, but I really grew a lot of hair! :)

October 17, 2008

Mommy and Daddy took me to Disney World! It was ever so much fun. First we went on a big trip where I got to ride on a car, a bus, an airplane, a boat, and train in the same day! I really liked telling the other people at the airport where the airplanes were. I had lots of fun running around and I especially enjoyed looking at the animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The fish at Epcot were pretty fun too. But I had the most fun just playing with the water fountains and in the pool. We also went to the Magic Kingdom and rode on lots of rides. The Pirates of the Caribbean ride was kind of scary so I made mommy hold her hand over my eyes while I peeked around it. The funnest ride was Dumbo. As soon as I saw the ride I wanted to go on it. It was ever so fun, I love Dumbo! It's too bad we had to come home but I have important things to do like potty training. Wearing underpants is great but I keep getting them wet. Oh well, at least I can watch this great video of our vacation while I'm on the potty.
