I don't have much to say today. It's been pretty quiet around here. I'm just going to daycare and hanging out at home. We had an extra dog at home last weekend so that was pretty cool. I'm working on the alphabet and just have a few letters like F and J that I can't say yet. There's a few new videos up so check that out. Toodles.
Happy Labor Day! I worked on my climbing and running around skillz today. Mommy finally had to take me to the park because I'm so skilled :-p Yesterday I meet my internet friend Aspen at the zoo and we chased birds and rode the wagon together. Then we went to Grammy's house for her birthday. I bought flowers for her at Pike Place Market the day before. On Friday, I helped daddy put together his shed and rolled down the big dirt pile lots of times.
I've also been doing lots of imaginative play like pretend the cookie is a car, making mommy and daddy sleep, feeding puppets, and being a big shot.

Oh, and Daddy and Mommy made this cool car from me.
And then in daycare I've been having lots of fun too. The yummy truck came and I got a popsicle bigger than my hea and my tongue turned green. Then we had cowboy week and I got to dress up like a cowpoke and ride a pony. Then the parrot lady came but I was kind of scared of the birds. And we've been playing with water every week.
It's been a busy summer. I need a nap.
I peed twice into the potty today! Yeah me! I also got all my teeth too. Plus I've been helping the teachers at daycare. On Monday I pulled out chairs for everyone who came to breakfast. Yesterday, I served everyone milk and today I tried to give my food to someone who was crying! I'm such a big boy.
My summer continues to be busy, but it is lots of fun! Mommy's been taking me to the wading pool a lot. I get braver each time. Just yesterday (happy 18 months to me!), I layed down in the water and kicked and blew bubbles!
We've also went to the zoo and the park and camping with Uncle Nicholas. Camping was lots of fun, but it was pretty cold at night. I don't really like marshmallows, but hiking with Mommy, Daddy and Uncle Nicholas was lots of fun. There was still lots of snow, but I was nice and snug in the carrier on Mommy or Daddy's back.
Like I said before, I am 18 months old now. I can do lots of stuff! I am talking like crazy. Mommy understands me better than Daddy, but I am working on him. I have around 30 words in vocabulary. Some of my favorites are shoes, more, please, dog, no, plane, bird, mine, fish, bowl, and jump. Speaking of, I can jump now, too. I get about 1.5 inches off the ground, but I am so proud of myself when I do it. :) I also LOVE animals. I mostly identify them by the sounds they make, but I am learning their names, too. I am almost able to walk up and down the stairs without any help or using my butt or tummy. I can run pretty fast, which is great for getting away from Mommy and Daddy. I like to help feed the fish and the dogs and I clean up my toys and whatever else Mommy will let me. I've only peed in my potty once, but I love to flush the toilet for Mommy and Daddy. Books are like the greatest thing ever, and I love it when I point to the pictures and Mommy and Daddy tell me all about them. I still love to dance, but I've added singing to it. I still love to sing "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" (I've added more words to it!), but I've also added "The Wheels on the Bus" and a song that I made up (Mommy's trying to get that on video, but she hasn't caught me in the act yet!). I love putting things in things and taking them out again. I am finding that stacking things can be fun and I really like trucks. I love to climb still, and now I bring over a stool or a chair or a box or a bucket and use them to get to higher places. I still love playing outside, but I don't use the dog door as much. I can almost open the patio door by myself, but mostly I have trained Mommy and Daddy to open it for me whenever I want. :) I still love daycare and I can name most of my classmates. When you ask me what we did (with yes and no questions), I can tell you what I did at daycare that day.
It is fun to be 18 months!
This is from a few weeks back (I wanted to improve the quality of the videos) but it's a good one. Check out my first haircut. Mommy let me keep my curls in the back though, business in the front and party in the back!

This weekend mommy and daddy took me camping. It was ever so fun going hiking, taking bike rides, and getting dirty. I'm not a big fan of roasted marshmallow though. Mommy thinks I'm strange. But the most fun of all was the game we played after we got home. Mommy turned her back while I was getting changed and I played peek-a-poo with her. You should've seen the mess I made, hahaha; I got a bath out of it too.
I've been having so much fun this summer that it's been hard finding time to update my web page (and we had a computer crash so that didn't help). I went to a family reunion and had lots of fun. I got to help make cookies and swam in the pool with my cousins.
I've been having plenty of fun at home as well. I've been helping mommy and daddy put trash away and closing doors. My reward is that I get to run through sprinklers, fountains, wading pools, and beaches. Water is so fun to play with. But you know what's even more fun to play with (especially when you don't have to clean it up)?
YOGURT!
Sorry about the wait but I've been having too much fun on vacation. We went to see my Nai-nai and Yeh-yeh and had lots of fun with them. Check out this awesome tent we built!
There was lots of good food and I went to the National Zoo and the aquarium. I really liked the pigmy hippo and the elephants there. There was a cute little girl there and I showed her where the hippo was. She was a little too young for me though.
After that, daddy and mommy took me to see some of their friends at a farm where I got to play with more kids, ride a tractor, practice my gardening, and see lots of animals like sheep!
I had a really good time but it was sure tiring. I learned to sleep like this from watching mommy.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Smell you later.
I know lots more words now. There's my belly button, nose, feet, head, eyes, and yeah! Everyday I learn something new. Daddy and Mommy were working in the yard today so I helped them. I took cuttings over to the compost pile and I helped to put flowers in the bucket. In exchange, they took me to the beach. It was super fun, I really liked playing in the sand and I went and touched the water as well. It was sure a fun weekend. Check out my new dance partner...
