Sorry it's been so long but I've been busy. First, I'm sitting up for multiple minutes and able to reach for things now. I still tip over pretty easily, especially when I get excited, but it's a start. I'm getting better on all fours as well, the crawling thing is still pretty hard but I'm learning to get my tummy up in the air and going backwards. Now I just have to figure out how to work those legs and feet.

In other exciting news, the wonderful world of solid food has opened up to me. First I tried some rice cereal but I didn't like that. Then I got some green beans and those were yummy, I think Mommy and Daddy are even sneaking in some cereal with it as well. This week is squash and I like that a lot too. My teachers think I'm growing like a weed and starting to fill out a little. Did I mention that I also got some chocolate pudding? It was mud wrestling day at daycare and we got to play in a bowl of pudding, I kind of got distracted by the tasting portion though.

You know what goes with solid food? Teeth! Yep, I got my two bottom teeth over the last two weeks. It was kind of painful but now I get to bite Mommy and Daddy with them >:-)

Daddy also thinks I'm getting more acquainted with my feet. Instead of kicking them, I like to rub them together sometimes like hands and mom swears that I swirl my toes in my mouth but there's no proof! The hand eye coordination is improving as well, I'm starting to only reach for things within range, although that range is expanding rapidly!

Finally, I made it to my first baseball game on Saturday. It was boring but I got to flirt with all the people there, especially the ladies. We got some souvenirs as well and didn't fall asleep until the 8th inning.

The Kwik-e-Mart was pretty cool, they were out of Krusty-o's but I got my Squishee and Buzz Cola.

I didn't sleep so well that night with all the fireworks but Daddy and Mommy took good care of me and Sadie came into my room and slept with me.

Mommy started me on cloth diapers again. These work much better and I haven't had a blow out yet. They also come in fetching colors for those hot days when I'm just in my diaper :-) I also started to belly laught this week. A couple of times when daddy was throwing water around to water the garden and then when Sadie was playing with a stick.

July 3rd, 2007

Daddy and mommy took me to a park near the Sound last Sunday. It was pretty fun except when daddy tried to show me the Sound. I saw the waves coming in and started to shake, then hyperventilate, and finally cry:-( Then daddy put my toes into the water and I really didn't like that. Don't know why I didn't like it since I love to play in the tub, must be all that salt.

Grammy and Grampy babysat me so mom and dad can go off and forget about poor old me. It wasn't so bad though, Uncle Thomas took me for a walk outside and showed me the plants and then I took a nap with Grammy for 2 hours. Maybe I'll let them babysit me again.

Tomorrow I'm going to the Kwik-e-mart (http://www.7-eleven.com/kem.asp) and getting a six pack of buzz cola, a couple boxes of Krusty-o's, and a giant Squishy, mmm donut...

One more thing, I've taken up a new sport, keyboard bashing. I've already mastered the open email with my fist technique! Although Auntie Amy is still the reigning open browser with butt champion.
